Voice of Life Radio

A Dominican Christian station carrying gospel music, preaching, devotional programming and community content. On an island of Dominica's size these stations function as general community media that happen to have a religious frame — announcing deaths and funerals, carrying school results and health information alongside the worship. That role became starkly visible when Hurricane Maria struck the island directly, destroying a large share of the housing and the forest, and radio was the surviving communications channel.
