A Trinidadian station built around soca and the Carnival season. Scorch programmes the music at the centre of Trinidadian cultural life — power soca for the road and groovy soca for everywhere else — and comes into its own from January onward, when the fete circuit and the radio feed each other continuously and the country works out which tunes will carry the year.
