A soca stream carrying the Trinidadian season and the wider Eastern Caribbean output. Soca is unusually seasonal: a tune has a Carnival, and a tune that misses its Carnival rarely gets another. Stations dedicated to the genre track that calendar around the region — Trinidad in February or March, Saint Lucia and Vincy Mas in the summer, Crop Over and Spicemas in August — which makes them useful year-round rather than only in the pre-Lenten weeks.
